Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are truly the heart of the operation at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. We depend upon their assistance to make our guest families’ experiences as pleasant as possible.

A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available to choose from for both individuals and groups. Everything that needs to be done at your house or office needs to be done at ours. And if you have a special talent or skill and would like to “customize” a volunteer position, contact us! We’d love to give you the opportunity to use your gifts.

Once you have found a volunteer activity that interests you, please download and complete the Volunteer Application or a Group Volunteer Application and return the form to:

Volunteer Highlight: Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth Moore was a complete and total lifesaver at the Show-Me 100 Bike Ride held on Saturday, September 29, 2012. She arrived at the crack of dawn and stayed until the event wrapped up late in the afternoon. She was willing to take on the role of helping other volunteers understand what they were doing and where they were going out on the bike course. She was kind and respectful and demonstrated appreciation to the other volunteers. She hopped in her car and checked on volunteers out on the course, distributed safety vests, helped with the Lifestyle Festival, and in general, offered to do anything that was asked, and more!

When asked about her interest in volunteering for Ronald McDonald House Elizabeth share this:

I started volunteering last October. I have spent most of that working with the Show Me 100 Bike Ride. I have worked for the local Mehle family McDonald's for 23 years (my current position is Training Coordinator for the Mehle's organization, I was the Store Manager at the Campus McDonald's for 12 years). As a McDonald's employee, the RMHC has always been a priority for me. Giving back to the local organization is a great way for me to reiterate that.

Ronald McDonald House is appreciative of Elizabeth’s efforts and proud to have her support RMHC!
