FAQ

Q: What do I wear to a Red Shoe Gala?
A: Since this year's theme is the Wizard of Oz, ruby red slippers would be ideal. If you do not own ruby red slippers any shoes will do. I do suggest you dress up a bit, I am not saying you have to look like Glenda, the Good Witch, but you don't want to come looking like the Wicked Witch of the West.

Q: Who do I invite to sit at my table?
A: You will want to invite someone or else you might end up with a Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion sitting with you. I happen to know the Cowardly Lion is particularly whiny. I suggest inviting people you enjoy being with, or clients, or family; I would go for people you enjoy being with, this is going to be a fun night.

Q: Will there be a cash bar?
A: There is always a cash bar. In addition, there will be free kegs of beer that we will drink until they are gone. You may also order wine in advance to be placed on your table. I would order more than one bottle; you tend to gain friends when there is wine on your table.

Q: What time does it start?
A: Entertainment, silent auction and games begin at 6 p.m. sharp. If you're early, you're on time; if you're on time, you're late; if you're late, you'll miss out. Seriously, we have planned a lot of fun and exciting things this year - you do not want to be late. The dinner, program and live auction begin at 7 p.m.

Q: How will the tables be set up for dinner?
A: Rounds of eight with a special gift for each guest. We are having a special this year, if you would like a table and upgrade to a Bronze Sponsorship, we will place two free bottles of wine at your table. (Remember from the answer above about wine helping you gain friends?)

Q: How do I order tickets?
A: Unfortunately, tickets are no longer available for this event. Want to get in on next year's gala? Ask to be put on the invitation list by contacting Barb at 573-817-1747.
